She awoke to sunlight falling upon her.

She sat on her knees in a clearing, warm rays of golden light bathing her as she opened her eyes. Her mind was blank as she stared at the wooden totem that stood before her.

She looked around the empty clearing, seeing nothing but the remains of what was once a campfire.

Is that mine? she thought to herself. And is it morning, or perhaps sunset? I don’t see a bedroll. I… I don’t know.

Holding her arms in front of her, she looked at the soft, well-worn leather shirt she wore. A pair of thick leather pants covered her legs, matched by a pair of deerskin boots. They had a loose fit, but felt comfortable as she fidgeted to inspect the outfit.

The outfit was on her body, but for some odd reason, it didn’t feel like it was hers, as if she preferred some other form of apparel.

She stopped her thoughts to rub her hands over her head, then pulled them away, so she could shake her head violently.

I… I don’t know my name?
